Tara’s birthday

December 3, 2009

And then an unusual take on ‘popping out of a cake’….a pop up of Tara and Mr Bean. It was a “Belly dancing and Mr Bean” party….completely in keeping with Tara’s sense of humour.

Cupcakes to take in to school on the birthday itself this week:

25 kids at the kids party, four celebrations…and one very happy little girl!

Hey sugar plum, you are so sweet to track some vinegar down for me. I am really keen to get some and it would fantastic to know that it is the good stuff. I will be in south goa – staying at Benaulim beach. Are you based in Goa? It would be really nice if we could meet up!

Hi,u replied here and i didn even know.
Benaulim is a lovely place-we going to be a little far on a private farm-just family, though we might drive down on a day or 2.
Well the news is that mom and me sampled quite a few and found the best from the mapuca market-there’s this guy named PETER,who sits in the old middle main market in mapuca so famous for its friday market. He sits right next to the cashewnut shop & u’ll find some gorgeous lemons to ,if ur lucky!!!
The market is full of goan stuff and i love to accompany mom when she drives down there!
Ok will try tracking a few places down south too ok-will ask a few friends-we too need to stock coz now the toddy can be bought only in may.
If u buy Peters bottles and keep ’em awhile they’ll be strong enough!
In the south ,near the main entrance junction ,while leaving margao actually ,u get nice fat free sausages but we always stick to costas if travelling and due to a comparitively lower level of spice too!!!
if anything else leave me a message and i’ll be happy to help!!!
    Do u come down often?
