A sunny Saturday and an unexpected trip to the other aide of town found me sitting at Bronte beach with kids, the dog and a coffee. And nothing to do other than watch the waves and passing parade of beautiful people. Soaking up the sunshine on crisp, cool days is my all time favourite activity, ideally featuring a good book too. The kids are happily digging around in the sand in between doing cartwheels. The dog is desperate to join them on the beach but sadly is not allowed. And I am wondering why I don’t spend more time just being still. These couple of hours of unplanned time out have left me feeling like I have had a holiday.
