Early morning walk in Cairns

December 5, 2011

A walk to Rusty’s markets – finally some decent food in Cairns! A riot of colour, fresh green things, smell of tropical fruits, and so many unusual things to check out. I bought red papaya, mangoes and lychees for my breakfast.

 How impressive is this ginger?!

How did the baking class go?
That huge ginger on display was just standard ginger that they somehow managed to extract in one piece. Mighty impressive.
